Mark your calendars for September 24, 2011, when Yeshiva University Museum will open Graphic Details: Confessional Comics by Jewish Women, which I’m curating with London artist Sarah Lightman. The show just wrapped a phenomenal run in Toronto, where the Koffler Centre of the Arts‘s Koffler Gallery Off-Site presented the show at the fabulous Gladstone Hotel galleries.
The exhibit’s based on a story I wrote for the Forward. After NYC, in September 2012, University of Michigan’s School of Art & Design will host “Graphic Details” at its renowned Slusser Gallery. The exhibit made its debut at SF’s Cartoon Art Museum in 2010.
Read about the show in Moment, the National Post, Globe and Mail, NOW, Comic Book Resources, Shalom Life, JWA, Toronto Life, Canadian Jewish News, Sequential Tart, SF Weekly, Chicago Jewish News, The Toronto Star, The Forward, J Weekly, the Bay Area Reporter, and Haaretz. See our blog feed, right.
